You can specify the maximum length of words to be indexed. The default is 128. This setting helps to avoid indexing long strings of characters which are not really words, such as directory or server specifications.

Specify whether or not you wish to index numbers found in your documents. You may wish to turn on this option to index telephone numbers, client numbers, addresses, or product numbers.

Finally, you can list words you wish to exclude from indexing. Click into the text box to edit the word list.
